I am a 17 year old photographer from New Orleans, LA. I first became interested in photography by stealing my mother’s iphone and taking pictures of my garden. She later on noticed that I took an interest in photography and bought me a pink point and shoot camera for christmas in 2009. At that point I took pictures of my friends, my family, or anything in my backyard. I was shooting anything and everything I could without any direction or style. I did that for a couple years until my mom invested in a Canon DSLR camera for my 8th grade “graduation.” Once I got that camera I developed my skills and created own style. My work focuses on showcasing the beauty in people and making them feel more confident in themselves. I view photography as not only a creative artform, but also a way to connect to people and allow them to view themselves in a more positive light.
