Emily Blake is a senior at Barnard College of Columbia University, studying anthropology and currently writing her thesis on art informed by feminism and the politics of representation in 1968-84. She writes about popular culture (with a specific fascination with film), fashion, and personal style, and the intersection of those aesthetic realms with culture and politics. She is the founding editor-in-chief of WednesdayZine.com in addition to contributing to Adolescent. She loves Eve Babitz books, clothing from the '70s, and putting chili flakes on everything.
